If you like this video, "German Brass" is a brass ensemble founded in 1974. Large bore trombones, or symphonic trombones, usually have a .547′′ bore and a bell size of 8.5′′ (215mm). The slide is raw with soldered stockings and floating top tube. REDUCED This Bach 42T was originally a rotary valved instrument. How many positions do you use on trombone? What is the alternate slide position to F (on the staff) played in the first position? Here's a rare one, a 50B single valve bass trombone that is almost certainly built from Mt Vernon parts. I am having a hard time dating the vintage of the horn for a few reasons. This one has some peppered wear on them and despite the appearance the slide still works well. Thank again, Clair Socci, Coopersburg, PA Within two weeks of sending my horn to Doug, we had a purchase.
